Antananarivo – Antsirabe

Drive to Antsirabe, a charming town known for its thermal springs and artisan workshops.Stop in Ambatolampy to visit a traditional aluminum foundry.Overnight stay in Antsirabe.

Day 3 :

Antsirabe – Miandrivazo

Journey to Miandrivazo, the starting point for expeditions to the Makay Massif.Enjoy the scenic landscapes of the central highlands.Overnight stay in Miandrivazo.

Day 4 :

Miandrivazo – Beroroha – Makay Base Camp

Transfer by 4×4 to Beroroha, passing through rugged terrains and remote villages.Set up camp near the Makay Massif and prepare for the trek.

Day 5 :

Exploring the Makay Massif

Begin the trek through the Makay, exploring its stunning canyons, caves, and unique ecosystems.
Encounter rare flora and fauna found only in this region.
Overnight camping under the stars.

Day 6 :

Trekking in the Makay

Continue the exploration with a focus on ancient rock formations and hidden water sources.Visit archaeological sites with ancient carvings and traces of early human habitation.Another night camping in the wilderness.

Trekking and Return to Base Camp

Beroroha – Miandrivazo

Drive back to Miandrivazo, retracing your steps through the rugged landscape.Overnight stay in Miandrivazo.

Day 9 :

Miandrivazo – Antsirabe – Antananarivo

This circuit involves moderate to challenging trekking in rugged terrains. A good level of physical fitness is recommended, but prior trekking experience is not mandatory.
