Continuing towards Miandrivazo, the scenery becomes more varied, ranging from lush green hills to sparkling rivers. On arrival in Miandrivazo, known as the departure point for cruises on the Tsiribihina River, travelers can rest and prepare for the adventures ahead, such as trekking or pirogue excursions.
Departure from Miandrivazo: Start by leaving Miandrivazo, a town known for its valley and rivers. Take the road to Lake Tritriva, a stunningly beautiful lake surrounded by mountains.
Visit Lake Tritriva: stop to enjoy the scenery, take a short hike and admire the surrounding cliffs. The lake is renowned for its turquoise waters and local legends.
Continuing on to Andraikiba: After your visit, head for Lake Andraikiba, another enchanting site just a few kilometers from Antsirabe. Here, you can relax by the water’s edge and explore the traditional pirogues.
Arrival in Antsirabe: Continue on to Antsirabe, famous for its thermal springs and colonial atmosphere. In town, take time to visit the local market, rickshaw artisans and beautiful old buildings.
Antsirabe also offers a rich culture and lovely excursions in the surrounding area, ideal for immersing yourself in Malagasy life.

The tour covers between 2,000 and 2,500 km in all, including journeys between major stops such as Antananarivo, Morondava, Antsirabe and Tuléar. The routes are spread over several days to avoid long hours of consecutive driving.
We use comfortable, air-conditioned all-terrain vehicles, adapted to Madagascar’s sometimes difficult roads. Each vehicle is equipped to carry up to 6 people plus a driver.
